Skimmer No Foam ?

the water i mix is running in a seperate tank with a powerhead that makes bubbles to aerate the water, that water was probally running for 6 days down,salanity was fine,used a diffrent sea salt than normal.. usually its instand marine i used reef crystals this time blueish salt. did the same with my 8 gallon but the water test

0 ammonia
0 nitrite
0 nitrate

sg 1025 for the 8 gall


for the 28 gall its

0 ammonia
10 nitrate
0.5 nitrite

1025 sg..

2 days ago,havnt tested the water again will do so tommorow night,

going away from thursday to sunday,so i cant pickup my new tank and rock from the supplier

that nitrite is bothering me.... Anyway what do you mean by bluish salt, was the salt blue or was the company or something blue?
