The topic of this isn't meant to be an absolute... but based on information all over this forum and other forums it is usually said that Demasoni aggression is close to 99% conspecific. (of course there are exceptions, but i am speaking here in total generalities).

So if you had one, theoretically, your single demasoni could be a non-aggressive tankmate (or semi-aggressive at most) for other mbuna. and again, i know, if you get a real nasty one, he's gonna be nasty. but generally.

you think this holds true for the most part?

i have a demasoni and he is only agreesive towards things that look the same....

ie..

Ps.Elongatus Mphanga
Ps. Saulosi Male
His reflection

he is fine with other fish infact he is one of my better behaved fish :D

cool to know. i have been toying with the idea of adding one to my tank of yellow labs and cobalt blues. they are such pretty little personality filled fish.

A single Demasoni should be fine with labs and Callainos. Just be sure you're tank is reasonably mature before adding one though, they are not particularly hardy. :good:
