Silver Tipped Neons Breeding

Iv just watched me siler tipped neons breeding and when they scattered there egg alot of them went into my java moss. So iv decided to take the moss out and put it into a big bucket as i dont have another tank or anything else to put it into! Will any of the eggs survive and fry etc or shall i just put the moss back into the tank and let my fish forrige amongst the moss

They may very well hatch out; you'll need to keep them in the dark until they're free swimming though, so a glass tank would be better; the eggs take between 12 and 36 hours to hatch, and the fry become free swimming 3 or 4 days later. The fry need infusoria to eat at first as they're too small for anything else, but your Java moss might have enough in it.

After a week or so they'll need a 10 or 20g tank with a mature filter and powdered food to grow on.

i havent got a heater or anything in just 2 pieces of bog wood and all the java moss iv put them under the stairs in a dark cupboard just will check tomorrow night to see if i can see anything but it is a big white bucket so going to be tough

They're going to need a heater, they won't hatch if it's too cold. Most tetra eggs are light sensitive, so I wouldn't get any light in there for at least a couple of days yet.
