Maintenance
2 50% water changes every week for the first six weeks, then moving on to 1 25% water change each week
I have spent around 4 hours cleaning the tank and removing the filter etc.
I have been buying all the equipment since the start of last week, after saving for what feels like half my life
Here is the cleaned tank;

The two tetratecs came last thursday along with an Aqua essentials order:
Then last saturday the external heater and hikari foods came from Warehouse Aquatics:
And finally today the lily pipes came from ebay, and another Aqua Essentials order, this time naturesoil and tropic white sand

Naturesoil in 10l normal and 3l fine versions
Tropic white sand 9kg
I still have to order Dry powders for the fertiliser, digital scales, and the things needed for the diy liquid carbon.
