Silver Bala Shark With Redtailed Shark ?

I have managed to keep them together, however, the RTS needs to be in a small group or 3-4.

I have 1 Red Tail Shark with 2 Bala's and the RTS does chase the bala's. He hasn't injured them though as they are too quick! And it's only at feeding time.

not come accross any problems keeping the two together. sept tank size, they both need a big(ish) tank.

RTS are very territorial and should not be kept together as they will become very agressive towards each other as they mature.
I've never kept bala's with RTS, but RTS are generally not advised to be put with other shark-shaped fish in particular as they often see these as threats- some people have been able to keep RTS with certain fish more successfully than others, but to be honest its not wise to take risks with these fish as it can result in deaths so i would not advise mixing RTS with other shark-shaped or similarly colored fish in general.

If you do decide to mix RTS with fish that could potentially be turned on by the RTS, make sure you have a separate suitable tank for the RTS to go in in case things turn nasty. A mature/fully grown RTS is more likely to be more agressive and territorial than a young juvenile one.

if they are anything like rainbow sharks, they get uber aggressive once they mature. mine was in a tank with an angel for over a year without a single problem. now he is mature and terrorizes the whole tank.
