Silver Arowana?

with a 5' x2' x2' could i house a silver arowana?

with

1 JD
1 Firemouth
1 Pleco
2 blue acaras

Nope Silver Arowanas get way too big for a 5 foot - growing to about 2 foot as adults sometimes bigger. Even for a Jardini I would be looking at a 7x4x2 as a minimum or a 6x2x2 at a real push while they grow.

Rest of the stock sounds good though

My LFS Maidenhead Aquatics in Taunton had a 3ft Silver Arowana in there 8x4x2 tank and they said thats how big they all get, so deffo not in anything under 8ftx 4ft wide

i think ive seen this fish a few years ago as my bro lives down south. Does the shop have a cave sort of entrance?

Not sure what you mean by cave, but it does have a weird entrance

I dont think its a good idea to house a fish longer than the tanks width...
