ok so my lil sweetheart has begun developing ich spots today the poor darling :(. im going to go and buy some treatment which is reef and invert safe tommorrow but its 10:30pm atm. she started at bout 7pm and the ich has gradually yet slowly begub to be more aparent.

ive turned off the tank lights as ive heard this slows the reaction.

now ive heard covering the food in garlic can cause them to cheer up and even fix the problem. so far she is still eating the algae off the walls of the tank, is this a good thing?

also what sort of garlic are people refering to? minced garlic etc? we dont seem to have garlic juice here in australia so i duno what to use any ideas?

how long will it take for the ich to get real bad on my beauty? will she be ok till tommorrow morning when i get the medication?

i have melafix and pimafix here which stoped an outbreak in my f/w tank but its been unused for a few months and ive heard bad reports so im weary bout it!

i changed 2 buckets of water tonight. its a 4ft tank, anything else i can do?

ive also raised my temp to 31 degrees. is this ok for what i have in there?

occupants=

nemo
3 damsels
bi color blenny
sand anemone
assorted star fish
black sunflower coral
some hermit crabs
2 green coral gobies

no one else is displaying ich and as i said she still feeds on the algae on the glass

hey ok so im hoping someone can help m solve this, as usual this morning it had dissapeard, no sign of white spot at all.

now its bout 7pm and its popping back up again! does anyone know #### is going on here? theres no presence from morning to after noon but then it all of a sudden pops back up again! ahhhh!!!

she's eating like a monster and looks very healthy but i fear each time the spots might be gettin worse!

well its been over a week now, she still eats veraciously and only contracts the spots at night, during the day she's clean as can be and pecking at all algae

how is it bad if she's eating perfectly well all day and not rubbing against anything?

anyway, the cleaner wrasse has showed interest in her now so ill leave it for anouther day and see how it goes, having trouble catching her atm!

so whats going on/ whats making it only appeat night ?
water stats are all optimal, ammo nitrate nitrite 0 and salt at 1.025

all same and has been since! been cycled for 2 months or so now!

Usually Ich acts faster than 10 days, or at least takes a turn for the worse. Are you sure it's ich and not stress spots?
