Need to fill in the form davo put up as peeling skin can be bad water quality, bacterial , parasites.

if the fish is producing excess mucous then there is probably a water quality problem. Fish have a mucous layer over their body and when they are stressed, they produce more of it and can appear to have a cream or white film over the body.

Try to get a water test done as soon as possible. Get it checked for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate & pH. In the mean time do 50% water change each day for the next week. If there is a water quality problem the partial water changes will dilute the nutrient build-up and reduce the problem.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine before it is added to the tank.
