What does it mean if a fish is swimming INTO the glass? Not against the glass like glass surfing, but actually like slowly/gently swimming into the glass, not ramming himself, just pinning his head to the glass as he swims forward.
And it seems to only be ONE section of the glass. Not just random
And sometimes he moves up or down, like he is glass surfing, but mainly it's just staying in one area

That's a good question. Corys will slowly work the glass to eat biofilm. Could it be that?

Maybe, but he's the only one doing it and he's the one with the physical head damage from earlier, which is why it makes me a bit more worried.
Hopefully it's just that though.
I only noticed this behavior yesterday

How does the fish look now?
Any better or is it worse?
Honestly looking a bit better. The excess slime coat has gone down tremendously and I think his wound is doing a LITTLE better, but hard to tell.

I don't use salt on corydoras as a rule. or very little
Yeah, I understand. I was hesitant myself, but they've been reacting fine to it so far.

Only keeping it in for 2 weeks though to treat this.
I will also be using catappa leaves for it's antibacterial purposes when I get some...

post new pictures of it so we can compare it to previous ones.

you might need salt in for longer if it's really bad but see how it is in 2 weeks.

I don't know if it looks better.
Is it eating?
Have you got 2 heaped tablespoons of salt per 5 gallons of water in the tank?

You might need to look at a broad spectrum medication that treats protozoan, fungus and bacteria (Waterlife Myxazin or something similar) if it doesn't get better quickly.

Yup. I do. I added the second dose of salt on Tuesday. Although it's missing 1 tbsp cause I didn't have enough salt. I'll fix that this next water change though because now I have enough.

And yes, he is still eating. He acts completely normal most of the time, it's surprising.

I'm also getting Indian almond leaves and a new light shipped. (Should be arriving tomorrow).
Hoping the antibacterial properties of the leaves will help.

If that doesn't work, what meds should I look into? Is the brand seachem good for this kind of thing?
