ONLY sterbai corydoras infected

You will need enough leaves in the tank to turn the water brown otherwise they won't do anything. You literally need the tank to look like a cup of really strong tea or coffee.

Waterlife Myxazin is a broad spectrum medication that should be safe with catfish.

Feed them more often to fatten it up. The more food it gets the more nutrients it will have to help fight off the problem. Just make sure the water stays clean when feeding more.

I'm getting a pack of 50, so maybe.

Just looked it up and it's not available in the U.S
Maybe I'll try kanaplex?

Alright! Will do!

I might try kanaplex if the salt/leaves don't work

This one really interests me in the fact that his symptoms show up differently.
most affected just look like they have excess slime coat, but this one has small discs on him.
Not ich though.
Just small cloudy discs that look like they'd be excess slime but aren't

I use Catappa leaves all the time, If you want to have some effect rapidly, break a couple leaves in big pieces and boil them to leach as much tannin you can then cool it up and put everything in the tank water and leaves.

If you put them dry it will take 2-3 and more weeks to see some effect.

Kanaplex is an antibiotic called Kanamycin and only treats certain types of bacteria. Ideally antibiotics should be used in bare tanks so they can treat the fish and aren't wasted on other bacteria in the substrate, filter, glass, etc.

If Waterlife Myxazin isn't available, look for a liquid medication that contains formalin or formaldehyde, malachite green (aka victoria green) and methylene blue. That would cover most diseases.
Methylene blue will stain the silicon and some items blue but doesn't damage the silicon.

There's paraguard by seachem.
Their site says it has a blend of: "aldehydes, malachite green, and fish protective polymers"

This one seems pretty promising!

you can try that
Awesome!! That's great to hear. At least I have a backup plan now for if the salt doesn't work as it should.
I've seen good reviews on it too.

On a side note, I think some of my sterbai are trying to pair up with eachother which is pretty cool

you can use that medication with salt in the tank.

make sure there's no carbon in the filter if you use antibiotics or the liquid medications.

I read somewhere that salt can stick on scaly or armored fishes. I would do salt bath and treat with antibiotics. Wound dont heal if it's infected. I have a fish with hole in head and antibiotics works. I do 10-20% water change everyday, pipetting out all debris and fish waste.

That's great!
I don't have any carbon in the filter.
Should I use some after I'm done treating the tank, though?

Also, I saw that the company (Seachem) says to add 5ml for every 10g and to dose that amount EVERY day unless fish show stress. Should I follow those instructions?

He's also extremely skinny. All my other ones are nice and plump like they've been eating well, but he seems malnourished
