I have a female platy that over the past couple of weeks doesnt seem herself, she is still eating and swimming to the top for food but when she isnt swimming she kind of props herself up on the side and breathes slightly heavy. Possibly lost a bit of weight too. All other fish are fine, I have done a water change since she got sick and water levels are all tested with liquid testers and are fine amonia 0 etc.

The tank is 130litre, well established, has 2 keyhole cychilds, 9 neon tetras, 2 bristlenose, 6 corys, 3 platys (all female, one is a baby), one live plant

Any ideas?

sounds like it could be internal parasites. I would treat the tank just to be sure, you don't want it spreading. But the choice is up to you. It's tough bc you don't really know for sure if it's parasites, or just a sickly fish. GL!

Is it best to treat the whole tank or best to qurentine and treat just her? Any idea on survival chances? Ive never had a sick fish get better yet!

Thats up to you really. With meds you always run the chance of harming you other fish, especially the bns and cories, but then theres always the cha

nce that the parasites are in your tank.
