Just seen the pictures on the back of the esha packet and im now thinking it could be velvet, some fish are flicking, mainly kribs and clown loaches, but the severum has got white specks all over his body

Thats alot of fish.
Don't add anymore salt. You have some fish that don't tolerate it.

No don't mix meds. The waterlife meds fine on its own.

What I meant is that you can use esha exit whitespot med with esha 2000 bacterial med.

Velvet will look like yellow spots, gold dusting on a fish, or a rusty coloured varnish.
But also velvet can look like a dusting of talc on a fish.

It looks like hundreds of tiny little white spots. Ive taken a photo but its not the best coz had to do it on my phone, i will get the photo up asap. The fish himself looks happy enough and comes out for food but is absolutely coated in this stuff.

The photo is on photobucket and the link is

Its hard to see it on his body but you can clearly see it on his fins

Tiny white spots is usually whitespot.

I have completed the course of protozin (6 days). Should I run some carbon for 2 days and then do another course of protozin or should I try esha exit. The Sevrum is looking loads better but I just want to make sure the whitespot has gone for good. I have read that White Spot can last for up to 14 days hence why I'm asking if I need to continue treatment. Thanks in advance for all your help

Place fresh black carbon back in filter.
Go from there.
