Hi all, not been on for a while.

I was cleaning my fish tank the other day and was using a battery powered syphon and my curious guppy decided to go for a ride. He managed to get past the rotar which sucks the water up and get lodged in a pipe. I got him out quickly and he seemed abit shocked and dazed but was swimming ok, the next day I noticed him not swimming just sitting on the bottom. his tail fin looked damaged aswell, I have him into a quarantine tank (one of those plastic net boxes which goes into the same tank) and he is just sitting on the bottom of the net (ocasionaly swims about). What should I do, I put him in there so non of the other fish could stress him out why he recovers.

i dont think theres really anythink you can do apart from make sure he has clen water and let him recover

ive done it with fry before and for the first coulpe of days there a bit shocked and they have all recovered. last week i was in a rush and trying to net fome fry to sell and i forgot to check the net after and put it away and when i gt it out the next day there was i fry in there that had been in there for a day with no water so i but it in the breeding trap and within a couple of days it was fine
