Hello
I'm new to Forums and new to fish but I have a problem with my red dwarf gourami.
Originally I had 2 gouramies (1 red, 1 blue) and about 2 weeks ago the blue stopped eating, was hiding at the back of the tank at the top and breathing really fast, then it developed a small open sore (ulcer?) on its side and died the next day. Now my red gourami has the same sore in the same place but none of the other symptoms.
The pet shop recommended Myxazin, which I am using for 4 days now. The fish doesn't seem any worse but no better either.
Does my Gourami have a bacterial infection and is there any hope of it not dying like the other fish?
Any replies would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
