Hi all,

we have had our tank for a bit over a week now. We inherited it from a friend and have two large catfish and a heck of a lot of small ones. The two large catfish are mostly hidden but one does come out and swim around occasionally. The other doesn’t seem to have moved at all. There are a couple of “windows” in the hide space and we can see a fin that just does not move. Could this one have died, be sick, pregnant, or stuck? I have attached the best photos I could get for help.

thanking you all!

I really cant see it from the picture...

Will you please provide pictures of the "bigger catfish" and the "smaller catfish"?

The "bigger catfish" are most likely Plecos. It is normal to see them hiding and not moving that much. (During the day)

Sorry, its been hard getting any photo's of the bigs. They tend to just hide. The photo here is of the one I'm not worried about. The other one hasn't left its hiding spot as far as I can tell for about a week.

I've attached a photo of one of the bigs and one of the smalls.

Thanks again
