Does it sound like Fish fungus - Saprolegnia


Done a search on the velvet med and it dosn't list the ingredients like other med companys do.
Interpet meds are as bad aswell for not listing ingredients.

I would buy the med online, but he might not survive that long waiting for the med to arrive.

Is there another lfs you could try in cleethorpes for the med.

Try the pond section as you can use pond meds the dosage is just different.

1 isle, no pond section, all interpet products then the rest is all foods.

Bought some Primafix (rather expensive for a tiny bottle actually) as its the closest thing they had I guess to the fungus. Dosed out 5ml.

2 more LFS round here, 1 being a very pricey shop who doesnt seem to have meds i donit think, the other guy is where I bought him from, and he doesnt have anything to the sort,.

Pimafix is no good if the fish has what the articles said.
Keep us all updated on the progress of the fish if you don't mind.

I would try and buy the med you need online.
Try and find a uk site that sells it.
