Hi guys im very worried, i bought 10 neon tetra yesterday, 6 of which have died, the columbian tetra i bought are fine and I also bought a siamese fighter who seems a bit strange, all hes doing is sifting the top of the water and he has lost some colour, hes not swimming as much as yesterday and he seems a bit lethargic. Ive just done a 90% water change treated with aquasafe...pics to follow

Hi, i had a Siamese for a little while before he sadly passed away. and he used to do this a lot if oxygen levels were low, they do breathe like this i believe (i may be wrong)

So if you have an airstone i would say turn that on.

what are your water parameters? ph, temp, amonia nitrate etc etc.

no airstone, i just went in and he was lying on the ground on his side, after doing some research it looks like he has swim bladder disorder. I havent tested my water yet (i know, ive made a right cock up of this) but I will be getting my water tested at my LFS tomorrow morning, I cant do it now as I have work shortly until tonight.
