Shy Cory?

I recently added some neons and a sucking loach to my community tank which already housed a betta, 6 head + tail tetras and 4 corys.

Since the addition 1 of my bronze corys spends all his time (literally) inside an ornament i've got - where it's pitched black. The other corys don't mind the additions.

What's causing him to become a loner? I'm worried he might not get food.

You do realised the loach will get to 10/11" and become very aggressive, don't you?

I do indeed - he will be moved when the time comes - but for now...

It could be that your cory senses a threat, even though it might not really be one yet.

Have you checked your water parameters to be sure the recent additions hasn't upset the cycle?

Everything's fine.

Temp - 25Degrees
Nitrite - 0ppm
Ammonia - 0ppm

The other Corys don't mind so why should this one?
