Shrimps Or Not?

Hi,


Recenty moved to a bigger tank (180l), currently housing 3 zebra danios, 3 leopard danios, 4 cherry barbs, 2 sucker loaches, 2 clown loaches, and red tail shark. Would it be ok to put in some shrimps? Went to my LFS today, and they had some in, cherry shrimps I think they were, first time I have seen them in there. So the question is would they survive, or become fish food?

Yes i'm aware of the clown oach situation, I had them with the tank, they will have to go when to big. Any suggestions for the shrims though?

I like alot of the shrimps available but I'd have to say that my favorite are amano shrimp.

Loaches will likely attack shrimp as well as the RTBS, and possibly the barbs too.

I guess that means don't bother with them! lol, any other suggestion for stocking the tank, would like some colourful additions if poss?
