Hey guys, been a tad neglectful with the water changes due to a few renovations around the house, (didnt think it safe to start splashing water around when paint's in the area) and as such, I have developed a few starter hairs of algae.
Odd thing is, it's not an algae I've seen before.
It's rather small so makes it hard to get a picture, but I shall keep trying, for the time being though, it looks like this:

Almost like an upside down anenome.
I'm assuming it's a form of hair algae, so I'm wondering, what shrimp would be best to deal with it for the time being. I'm thinking about breeding shrimp anyway, so ideally cherry would be a good dual-purpose filler, but we have amano in a tank at work and they do an amazing job of cleaning up any hair algae.
Ideas?
