Shrimp and aquascape tank

As long as water has enough nutrients and u provide some light to them they will grow. But need to know that you usually wont see any grow in first 2 weeks plant need to get used to new water parameters. I would just tie them to wood or rocks or use super glue and glue them. Regarding number of plants needed you have enough there is no specific rule of amount i have cycled mine tank with less and all is good.

I was just looking over this tank, there are only lots of plants in atm

However is that a baby snail?
Hard to zoom in that much

It's one of the pest snails, and these don't grow much bigger than that. They are planorbid snails, one of the smaller ramshorns.
