Should I?

I live with my parents and we already have 2 dogs, a jack russell (5yrs) and a Border collie (10 yrs), near to where i live there is a dogs home that has baby yorkshire terriers, my birthday is coming up and my parents say that i can have one for my birthday!!! i dont know if i should get one or not though as i dont want to upset my other dogs, what do you think???
would one more dog make a massive difference??

I would say if you have the time and commitment for a new puppy to go for it.Most older dogs will get used to a puppy with careful introductions and can even give them a new lease of life

My dog became more playful, and he stopped doing naughty things in the house when we got a new dog. He somtimes used to wee out of spite, and chew things, even though he's 8 years old and never used to do it. The vet said he was getting stressed, and my mam kept looking at white boxers and staffys on the old t'internet, and her friend phoned her up and said someone she works with has a lhaso aapso and shes migrating to Spain, so she needs to give the dog a new home. So we went to see her, and straight away we were in love. We took her home and she was 3 years old, and is VERY well housetrained and laid back. She's quite unsociable at times though, she sometimes sleep on my mams bed during the day, and she used to go behind the couch but that may have been because of the heat. The lhaso used to live with a yorkshire terrier so she was used to dogs, but he was going to be given to her neice as he was 12 years old, and she wanted the lhaso to have a new life. It may be different with 3 dogs, but I think they will get along and have fun. Maybe even have doggy meetings. The only time i've been with 3 dogs is at my mams friends house when we took our dog, and they all enjoyed each others company, but that was for a few days, not permanent. Don't know if this will help, but anyway that's my story.
