Should I Seperate?

Well i purchased a blue ram for my 30g planted tank the blue ram was a male. So i decided to go back and buy a female. I brought it home acclimated it to the tank put it in and watched.

I noticed that my male ram kept chasing the female ram. But the female ram was really really colorful actually both were. Is this a sign of aggression and that i should seperate one or is it like sum thing they do to see if they want each other as companions and make strong babies?

thats what im thinkin but its been goin on for a couple of days so kinda got worried..

I wouldn't worry too much considering that it doesn't sound like they are stressed, and the fact that both fish are exhibiting brighter than normal colors would lead me to belive that they are begining the pairing off process.
