So I started a 75 gallon freshwater community tank about two months ago. Originally I had 6 Tiger Barbs, 1 silver striped angelfish, 1 BGK, and 1 tiger Oscar who after a month had still not eaten anyone, and who I thought would be ok. Everyone warned me to put the Oscar in his own tank. I did not listen.

So, as of today I have three tanks and one less tiger barb, one tank with just Oscar, who is growing quickly and will attempt to eat anything you put in his tank including decorations, plants, rocks. I've never seen anything like it.

My other tank is much happier now and I now have, 5 Tiger Barbs, 1 silver striped Angel, 1 BGK, 1 Pleco, and 2 kuhli loach. I will be getting a much larger setup when the BGK starts growing he's only about 4 maybe 5 inches long as of now.

The third is for some Molly's I reluctantly bought from a local store that after two days were covered in ich.   Hopefully they make it as they are beautiful fish and I would like to add them to my community tank. I will update with photos.
Any suggestions for suitable tank mates for my community tank would be greatly appreciated.

No kidding, I didn't know about quarantine fish tanks so my tank was wiped out twice.  I also know about cycling now (which I didn't before) and about keeping new fish separate for a while.

Haha don't worry, i did worse than the two of you when i started more than a decade ago lol

Has anyone ever had experience with a Pleco eating other fish, I have a BGK but he's not big enough to eat anything, at least I don't think he is. But I'm down one tiger barb as of this morning.

Not really. The longest pleco i had inside a community tank almost reached 11 inches but it was peaceful to small fish except the corys which he bumped if ever they rested beside him
