Fish Crazy
One of our forum members has expressed interest in some crayfish which I presently have a plethora of She is in california and I am in ohio. I know they can be sent via the mail she is suggesting a flat rate box which seems viable. But I need some advice on how to ship them.
The people on aquabid say that they send em with heat packs. I imagine these are the little hand warmers you can buy at a hardware store. Or is there a recomended brand of them.?
Also what kind of padding should I place around the bag?
Should I put food in or would it contaminate?
As it will likely be 3 baby crayfish should they have individual bags?
Do I want a lot of water or as little as viably safe for the lobsters?(they can survive outside of water for quite a while but have to adapt back to water slowly or drown)
any other advice is definately appreciated.
