Shape Of Aquarium

hi all.I am planning to make a 'L' shaped aquarium of 2' x 2' (the length of the arms) by 1.5' width x 1.5' height.I have planned on using 6mm thick glass.But i am not very sure about the strength of the aquarium and whether the glass thickness will be enough.
If you think it is enough then kindly give a decorative suggestion of how to make a setup for chichlids

There are some TFF members who are very knowledgeable about aquarium building but they probably generally would not be noticing posts over here in the welcome section. I recommend you repeat this request, perhaps adding a few more construction details in the "Hardware and DIY" forum. You'll find it on down there lower in the list of forums. Let them know whether you plan to construct it yourself or have it done for you, what other materials etc.

I fully agree with waterdrop, just thought I'd add you might also post what species and how many of the cichlids you plan on keeping as that will also determine if your proposed tank will work.
