Severum Question

Just wondering what you get if a green mates with a gold severum ??

It might depend on what other genetic material each fish has, however, the Green is probably dominant and you will probably end up with more Green than Gold offspring.

I am going from memory here as I read a report ages ago about genetics. The male colouration is normally the dominant colour, I had a convict x rotkeil severum that was severum shape but convict colour. If the male is a green you would get pale green severums, or gold with the stripes of the green (which I have seem and looks nice) If the male is gold then they fry should be more gold, but again could have the stripes of the green.
