Let me us learn something here: Why do u think it is male, what are the specific signs?

With severums (the majority that is) the males tend to have facial markings of squiggly lines etc, where the females tend to have plain colouration, however with the gold and red spot severums sometimes the females will sport some facial markings under the eyes and on the gill plates, with yours being either a light coloured juvi red spot or a gold its quite difficult to tell the sex from that angle on the picture, as both pics have light across the area between the eyes making it difficult to see any markings to be 100% sure of the sex.

Looks like a female as the markings are not spread across the face. In my experience any color of severum will have a little bit of facial marking, but the males will be very bright and cover the whole face, to include the front palate.
