thank you, she is the daughter of my sisters tai hm girl and ft male. I really like her. I would have spawned her with my violet dthm, but he has been grumpy lately and I can figure out what his problem is so I am letting him chill.

he has built a huge nest and I let her out, they are currently chasing each other around. if they dont start spawning by the time I get to bed the female will go back in the chimney for the night till the next morning.

kept her in the chimney overnight. he is a very rough and tumble spawner. she is not a pleasent cookie herself so I am not too worried he will totaly trash her. I am keeping a very close eye on them today. makes me glad I use a 20 long and lots of plants to spawn. they can actualy get away from each other if they need to.

wow I have lots and lots of eggs. once they figured out what they were doing she was dropping 20-30 eggs at a time. so many the male could not pick them all up fast enough and she was eating a bunch. I counted around 200 in the nest. omg it would be sooo nice if they all hatch and make it to adulthood.

I have pictures but my computer is having major issues and wont read the card. ugh.

Great news although I don't know if I would want to deal with 200 in one go....you're a braver person than me

That's true, if the options are none or 200......I'd go for the 200 as well Have you taken any of the eggs to tub hatch?

Wow, 200!! Bet you can't wait to do that many waterchanges every day congrats though

all of them netty, lol. I take no chances anymore. every good spawn I have had was tub raised. when I leave them in with the fathers it just ends badly no matter how many times the dads have been spawned.
