well, ive got a 28 gal just sitting on he side with my gerbils in it. and ive decided im going to set it up again .its going to be very heavily planted and full of community fish.
so i was thinking of these fish in it ......
2 rams
4 ottos
8 cardinals
4 corys (albino i think)

i think that will work very well and i may have enough room for a few more fish , like some platys or something in the near future.obviously its gong to take some time and its going to be about 3 months until im happy with the look of the tank and all the plants befor i add my fish just so i dont have to be playing around with the tank and disturbing the fish too much.so thats about it :D waht do u all think ? and any sugestions on another fish would be great. :good:

I think that setup is fine as far as i'm aware, deffinately not overstocked anyway, and if I was you, i'd deffinately try not to overstock your tank, it's the biggest mistake i've made so far!

:lol:aquatic gerbils  now theres a thought :P

yes i was debaiting on weather to have cardinals or rummys as i do like the rummys a lot.and i think bumping up the number of corys would be a goopd idea as well. :D

you will have to check the sealant on the corners of the tank are still watertight though, my gerbils destroyed a perfectly good 10ish gallon by clawing out half the sealant (this was a very very long time ago, still have the tank though).

o bugga, i hope the little critters havent destroyed it  i hope not, fingers crossed.

thank god all is well :good: non of the sealent has been chewed away so its all good, just fillied up the tank , just got to go out tomorrow and get new heaters and filters and away i go :D but then ive got to cycle :( the boring bit.o well you know wat they say , the longer you wait the better it is .well i think thats the saying :S lol
