How large should it be?
There will be 5 males, 6 females.

I was looking at something like a 10 usg?

:)

Endler's don't need a large tank, they're small fish that won't kill each other over territories. Plenty of live plants like Najas or hornwort are helpful, they provide cover and food for the fry. Good filtration and regular water changes are more important than tank size.

Good, 'cause I saw a nice 35litre for £35 :)

After a week i move my young into another tank -well almost all so the tank doesnt get too overstocked and the young get a chance to get bigger-last month i had 80 fish in 4 days-mayhem i tell you!

Good news! They had babies in my 55 Litre! :D
I've circled them to make them easier to see :)

I keep mine in 2 tanks. Started with about what you have last October. My 45 gallon and my 20 are both getting pretty full looking. My first guess is over 200 total fish. I keep them at about 77F with enough hornwort and java moss to give them lots of cover. It is not unusual to see a .5 cm fry swim unmolested past an adult endler. The 10 will fill up very quickly on you. I'm already eyeing another of my tanks for the surplus I will have soon. Only the first batch or 2 of the fry are fully developed so far but I'm sure they are not the only ones breeding.

Good for you!! They didn't waste any time did they!?!

Thanks :D
I think my LFS will take the fry off me when they have grown for 50p each, so there's an outlet for all these offspring!

Well, at least, I hope they do!
They say they will buy my Severums off me for a third of the selling price.

Seeing as they sell Endlers for £1.50 each, it should be about 50p a fish :)
So 50 fry = £25

Money! Money! Money!
:hooray: :big_boss: :yahoo:

My lfs is quite interested but not too thrilled with fry. they would like them big enough to sell. Even with endlers, that takes some time. Meanwhile, I am serious about finding more room so the first ones can grow out properly. Otherwise, the ones I end up giving them will be stunted by overcrowding and there won't be much future market for them.

;) btw...
Meet the parents! :D

Daddies are on the bottom right of this photo, kinda blurry:
