Set Up My New 110litre

bought the cirax box yesterday couldnt get it in the filter its the correct size but wont go in unless i really jam it in got it half way and thought it was a bad idea incase it gets stuck took me like 15 mins to pull it out good job it didnt go all the way n may off never got the damn thing out any suggestions trucka ?

mine fits in well, but im using a bigger filter, not the bioflow super (new one)

ive got a compact H

and as minxy said, carbon is a waste of time too!

are you trying to put it into the basket then into the filter?

If it doesnt fit and you dont want it, try and get some money back by putting it in the buy/sell/swap forum, someone else will probably want it

i had trouble putting mine in, so i got rid of the basket, and put it into the bottom, and made my own basket out of some mesh for the remaining sponges.

so effectilvy the cirax is on its own, then the green sponge, carbon sponge and prefilter are in the DIY basket

If the basket is the plastic thing with the little spikes on to hold the sponges then yep i did should i not off done that but with out tht how would u get them out once there in ?

If it doesnt fit and you dont want it, try and get some money back by putting it in the buy/sell/swap forum, someone else will probably want it

their designed to fit in the baskets, but not very well, ditch the basket, and wrap some cotton round the cirax (through the holes, and tie it up then leave the peice of cotton hanging out the back so you can pull it out easily.

then take a peice of mesh, and make your own basket for the nitrate sponge, the carbon sponge, and the pre-filter

Well here's some images of my tank after 4days of it cycling im gonna put somes plants and decor in bit by bit through the weeks i just got my 1st set of plants today added them in yep its still needs more decor but there to come in time as you can see from the pics still cloudy and i know its only been a few days but my patience is wearing thin I WANT IT 2 LOOK CLEAR!! LOL so im thinking about buying this does any 1 know if it works ? filter aid
