I am not joking - she is going to split at her/his seams....

Her belly is bloated so much her scales are popping off. She looks uncomfortable and can't float in the water.. she just sinks to the stones or on top of plants. She looks like she is out of breath and is starting to find it hard to breathe.

Should I put her out of her pain? or hope she gets better? Can the other fish get it too? - whatever "it" is?

Anyone know?

Could she be consitpated???? Put a pea in for her, blanch it off first, and squash it into little pieces, if she does eat it, it will make her constipation go.

maybe dropsy... do a forum/google search on dropsy and see if that matches your fish's symptoms

The heavy breathing is due to being so blown up and uncomfortable, try some peas and daphnia, but sadly the fish is in a very bad way.
