Ok then, tank was moved from lounge to kitchen, when we needed building work done. Im now banned from moving it back, by the wife. So ive slowly lost intrest in it, as i cant see it every day anymore.
Anyway looking for advice on price, as i may as well sell everything i got.

Fluval 190 corner tank. and stand
Fluval 204 filter
Fluval 203 filter not with original pipes. But working order in the tank.
2 Heaters
2 types of wavemakers.
All above in good condition, a few internal scratches on the tank. Not visable under water.
All fish, a few tiger barbs, a plec, kissing gourami, and a few small tetras. Red tail black shark (about 5 years old)
Sand substrate, 4 Amazon swards, and lots of long grass type plant. Vallis i belive

Plus all other bits and sods ive got kicking around.
Not sure what to ask price wise
Anyone want to make an offer

Steve

add up the cost to buy everything brand new....50% of that would be your selling price

then another 50% off the 50% and you would be about right

the filters are very old models, not worth very much at all.

That's kinda lame that she won't let you move it back. I always think of fish tanks like TV's there eye catching lol.

That is a shame, I much refer watching my fish tank than the TV :(

Yeah, im really not wanting to sell it. But its getting quite a lot of slime algae in it, purley as ive lost intrest in it in the kitchen. Maybe i shall do some more begging.

Does your wife watch any soaps?? If so perhaps you could say you will never complain about being subjected to watching them again, as you can chill and watch your tank instead :) (unless you are a soap watcher also, that wouldn't work!)

our tank is in the dining room, but all of our meals are consumed in there as no room in kitchen etc, ha ha sometimes I just sit in there to watch the tank.

Uh-oh, a thought has just occurred to me. . . . . . . You don't think your wife is trying to get you to spend more time in the kitchen do you? :) right ill stop being cheeky now! In all seriousness, hope you get it sorted, looks like a nice set up you have!

Maybe your right lol. Maybe i should take up cooking. Will get me out of the way of the wife as well.

Or wait till shes out, and just move it back into the lounge, hope for the best lol

Threaten to buy another fish tank to put where the other one was, then as a compromise agree to move this one ;) Unless your wife doesn't do compromises.
