So I've got 9 leptosoma utina 3 from 1 place and 6 from another. It's said they are fairly easy to breed, these fish cost £37.50 in 3's can't remember singles.

I've never tried selling fish to the lfs before. Was wondering in general what's the best way to trade fish? And how much do you expect for them?

All experiance welcomed
Would love to hear on any one who's traded with leptosoma fry.

Some shops won't take fish from folks like that. Others will only take certain ones for money. Finally don't expect to get much, no more than 1/4 - 1/3 of the retail value would be the max, IMHO. Store credit rather than cash also sounds more likely.

Unless you can breed Discus, or Clown Loaches...

My LFS are going to buy my Loaches for £20 a piece if they get 'too big' :D

Most stores here don't take fry. Instead they only buy fish that are at least a couple of months old that have grown out some. Depending on the fish (or shrimp, snail, or coral), at least locally, it can get you money or store credit. I like store credit myself as I know I'm going to use it.
