Second Tank

Thanks you've just confirmed that my filter outlet is facing the right way :)
I would like something like the first pic, whats the floating plants?
I think im going to stick with plants on wood/rocks until i get abit more confident

The left is just some Ricca floating and the right is Indian fern, btw a handy hint on the filter is don't butt it up to the right hand glass as small fish squeeze in get stuck and die. Leave a few cm and they will just explore and turn around.

You are doing fine Danele. Your tank looks very nice. Your choice of substrate is fine. Be careful returning that filter to your established tank. You don't want to introduce too much ammonia into that tank from the rinsed out filter media.
Sorry about the pricing differences noted. I have spent some time in the UK as a tourist and found your fresh food very cheap compared to what I pay at home, but things like aquaria are way off in the other direction. It seems that each of us lives in a place where protective tariffs have taken a different direction. People producing fresh foods have much better protection here while people making manufactured goods have better protection there. So be it. That is why I said that I wished the currency conversion were meaningful.
