New breed of 'fish-bot' unveiled
The world's first autonomous robotic fish are the latest attraction at the London Aquarium.

Yeah I saw this robot in person about a month ago it was very impressive, it swam very naturally. Did have a good video of it on my phone, but lost my phone

The three robots will live alongside real fish in a tank in the aquarium, and will be named by children in a competition.

That has honestly got to be one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my entire life!!!
If they develop these for public purchase in the future and if the price is right, I would totally get one. It would be neat if they made a relatively small one that you could have in a community tank with real fish!

The movement seems absolutely spot on. These would be perfect for aquariums that are on show in bars & restaurants etc!! You could have so much chemical in the water that no algae would ever grow, some quality plastic plants & you have the perfect non maintenence tank. If you read the article you will notice they are designing one that even locks on to a charging station so you wouldn't even have to do that!!
