Sand Or Gravel

i almost had sand in mine, but decided i didnt want to pay silly money for black sand. I cleaned some playsand (that took a while!!) and then decided i didnt like the colour

I really want to change mine to sand but i heard it is very hard to clean. Looks loads better imo

Dead easy to clean... all the, errr, "stuff" just lies on the surface... which is sands major drawback, it always looks dirty.
I just syphon all the cr@p off with a pipe/bucket.
