Sand Irritating Fish?

I just noticed presumably a small grain of sand stuck on the very end of my apisto's tail fin which he was trying to rub off and seemed to be kind of thrashing his tail to dislodge it, has anyone else seen this before?

Is there anything else it could of been other than sand? I dont think it could be ich because they leave red sores when they fall off dont they? SO was just wanting to eliminate the possibility of another parasire? It defintely look like a grain of sand tho!

is whitespot the same as ich? I should mention no other fish have any syptoms and the "thing" fell off in the 5 minutes that i noticed it

sand does that alot tbh. I notice it with my community every now and then, they get grains stuck on them for one reason or another.

soon as i as i read this i thought
white spot up your temp to 80 to 81
and aerate the tank a bit more
you will also need a white spot
cure i use ws3 by king british
do you know the
stats on your tank at the moment

If it fell off it proberly was just sand. Keep a close eye and if you notice more white spots then treat.

Sand often gets caught on my clown loaches since they love burrowing. It does stick and can annoy the fish, but isn't harmful.

I will kep a close eye on all the fish, I cant see any other with anything similar so I think it was just sand, panic over lol
