Same Family.

Can i have these fish together silver shark or rainbow shark with my goldfish. They are from the same family. If not what can i have what type of fish can i have with them i like to change a bit in the tank. My tank is 32 gal, we a 50 cm wand and a bio wheel and internel filter and a rock and a plant and i will try to find some hiding places. I use to have 2 baby angels but they r dead so i am changing my lfs. I will pass on tuesday. Btw I loved this site from all the website i have been on, you are helpful guys and ladies. Thanks for ur cooperation. Still new i have been keeping fish for 1 year and 4 month.

Just because a fish is from the same family it doesn't mean it will get long with other fish from that family

As you probably know goldfish are Coldwater fish, i would consider re-homing him.

As for Rainbow or Bala Sharks they require much larger tanks (Bala's need 6 ft tanks as they are shaoling fish and grow upto 10", Rainbows also require at least a 55g)

Never heard of a Bata shark before!

I said Rainbow Sharks were suitable for a 55g not Balas.

Well i have a pleco with my goldfish, and i added a heater and everything is settled good. I use to have angel with them but i dont know if they get die when i added salt to the water, i bring again will they survive. Last i guess they where killed from salt will they be compatibile with the goldfish fish. Thanks
