Okay, so I've got a saltwater, fish and live rock only tank, and I was curious... which saltwater test kit should I get? at my LFS they have 2 different brands, a Saltwater "Master" test kit, and a Reef "master" test kit. Which would be best for a Fish and liverock tank? I'm thinking just the normal saltwater test kit, am I right?

Either should be fine. I am assuming the reef kit would have tests for calcium and stuff like that which are important if you're keeping corals. Personally if you have a FOWLR tank I would just test for ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and pH. You may find it cheaper to but a master kit but you probably won't use some of the tests in there.

well, both kits are the same price ($39.99 canadian) which isn't too bad, plus I work at the store so I get a 15% discount... I guess I'll go for the saltwater master test kit instead of the reef one as I don't think I'll be having coral anytime soon, however if I ever get coral it's not like I can't buy the reef test kit right? lol alright, thanks for the help :)
