Sal Goes Rio With A Bit Of Vision

Thanks minnnt, will give it a try. If I can find out how to change those things

Thanks, Ross :)

p.s.: Minnnt, have you seen my bargain thread? You are so going to hate me :hey:

After reading your thread I'm glad your camera hasn't got any settings on it.

It should have an exposure adjustment on it, look for brightness.

You don't hate me now, do you?

Will have a fiddle :hey:

I have:

Self timer
ISO
Image size
Image quality
Finepix color
White balance
Sharpness
Photometry
AF Mode
Flash

That's it. Can't find anything with brightness :(

It will be under one of them. Colour or photometry.

Hate is too soft a word to describe my feelings for you right now.

Colour gives me the option of standard, chrome or black and white so not that.

Tried photometry, but it only seems a bit brighter. Will try later.

You need to move to Cannock, that's where the bargains are!

Well, the Chase ain't bad. But the rest...

Will try again tonight and see if I can get it done or edited.

Just bog standard Windows photo editor. If you have something like photoshop etc you may get them better.

Oh wow! Thanks so much, this looks so much better and so much more like the real thing!!! So, Windows photo editor then. Do I just google it and download it? Can you tell me which things to look out for mending wise as in what have you changed?

Thanks so much, I'm really over the moon now. I might even enter the TOTM competition soon now that I know that I can get the true beauty of my tank.

What do you want for it? Oh yes, a 99 pence tank delivered and set up

It will be on your computer. When you select the photo's you need to select the 'fix' tab at the top. Adjust the brightness, contrast, shadows and highlights. Then alter the temperature and saturation. You can straighten it and crop it too.

Also, use flickr to upload your pictures rather than photobucket. Much better compression i believe so you don't loose detail.

Also, is your camera set to the best quality as the picture you emailed me was only 240Kb... mine are 2.5Mb. lol.
