Hello everyone

I have currently got 2 Sailfin Mollies in my 3ft main tank one male and one female,
I am looking to add afew more fishies, I like fish like Angel Fish and largeish fish
I don't want HUGE fish as they will grow overtime anyway I love paradise fish but who doesn't haha

anyway any advise doesn't matter what fish I will be happy to hear ^^

thanks

From my experience, don't get any more male mollies. The biggest one will torture the other.

Paradise fish are mean. I had one and it killed 4 of my guppies and a big tetra. I don't think they'd be good for your mollies.

Angelfish would be alright, but only if you get it very small. That way, it will grow up with the mollies and will tolerate them. If you buy an adult angelfish, he will pester the other smaller fish, including the mollies.

If you'd like bigger fish, I'd reccomend pretty much any type of gourami (except the giant ones that grow up to 2 feet long). They are peaceful, they aren't puny and are pretty. They shouldn't fight with the mollies, either. Plus, they are related to the paradise fish, so you won't be at a total loss not getting a paradise fish.

Hope this helps! :D

gourami?
I can have thoese?
there mega pretty

Dont gourami get nasty after they build bubble nest and spawn?
I want somthing that I won't have to move in like a months time
I do like gourami ALOT tho the colours are amazeing especialy the dwarf how much do they retail for roughly?

i have a pair of sailfin mollies also, my tank mates are 4 adult angelfish(bought as adults), 1 juvenile, 15 cardinal tetras, couple of sword tails, clown loaches, platies and a pair of moonlight gouramis and 2x bala sharks, the mollies get on with all the inhabitants no problem.. , if you are going to get gouramis it would be best to stay away from the 3spot/opaline gouramis as these tend to be the most aggressive and territorial, especially the males, also with keeping mollies you may want to add a bit of salt to the water as the fish prefer this!

Oh yea
How may should I get?
It's a 3ft tank and 1ft tall
only has 2 fish in at moment 2 Sailfin Mollies 2 male 1 female
so how many Dwarf gourami can I get ^^

Well, since there is hardly anything in the tank you could get 1 x male and 2 x female dwarf gouramis, its always better to get 2 females per male as this spreads the agression to either female.. maybe get some corydoras as well, a small group of those best to keep them in groups of 6!,

you might want to get some more female sailfin mollies as well, as the 2 male sailfins may fight over the 1 female, 4 females betwen the 2 males should do it! :good:

Cordys are the poop cleaners arent they?
I can't get any fish for a month cause I had 1 fish with BAD white spot so I treated water and Im running a UV sterlizer on for moth to make sure all Parasites DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
lol then Im gonna save my cash through the non fishie month and go on a spending spree

well, they dont do a really good job of cleaning to be honest, you could get a smaller pleco to clean up algae etc but stay away from the common plecs as they tend to grow over a ft long and you will need a bigger tank in the long run, from personaly experience having a pleco they tend to make more mess than they clean up!, but corys are cool especially in a group as they tend to shoal, since you'v had whitespot in the tank i would suggest that you don't got on a spending spree, just add a few fish next month and see how they do just to be sure the whitespot has cleared and then you can always add some more afterwards!
