Sad News! Some Pics! Synirr Gals Arrived

Awww, lovely to see them in a such a good home
That pic with the frog is ADORABLE!

:-( I am sad to report that one of the Synirr sisters didn't make it. Besides Ms. Quasi, there were 5 girls: 3 red, 1 Cambodia cheescake and 1 who looks like she will have a green or turquiose tail and coloring. When I came home Tuesday morning, 1 of the red girls was on the bottom. They are very tiny. I could not see anything wrong. I did a 40% water change and added more media from a mature tank. The remaining 4 Synirr sisters are still stressed but appear fine. The VT girl and Ms. Erica the large HM (delta?) are also looking good. They rule the tank and dance together often, as well as chase the sisters. The sisters have their little areas and also congregate together in a back corner of the tank. It is a day and a half later so I am calming down.

The tank is very tall, so it is a major swim to drive to the top from hunting on the bottom, but they all seem to be managing it. Although the larger VT and Ms. Erica are more accomplished.

I am holding my breath. I added some salt even though I have 3 ADFs and 3 Botia straita in there. But just in case there are some nips and for their stress, it seemed wise. I will add more IAL Thursday morning.

Everyone gets cucumber and pea for breakfast Thanksgiving. Then we will see what is for dinner. They are still learning the feeding routine in their new home. Ms. Quasi is "Quasimodo on the spot," whenever I tap the bowl. My feeding signal is a tap where I intend to feed.

Sorry for the loss :rip: little betta girl. Hopefully the others will all be fine, maybe it was just too much stress for the little one to handle.

Great pics!! I especially love the one where the betta is looking at the frog. The caption is priceless!

They are all looking good today, I anxiously looked for each and every one. They were busily about their fishy business.

Yes the froggy pic is a cutie.
