Sad fish loss

I bought a blueberry oscar about a month ago. He has been fine the entire time. I bought him knowing that he had a slim chance of surviving because of him being dyed but i grew attached to the little guy. No more that 2 inches he had become the life of my tank. I came home from the pet store today with a few new fishy friends to find him not moving. He wasnt dead and showed no signs of disease. There was nothing i could do. He will be greatly missed. Other than the dye does anyone know of a possible caus of death?

I'm so sorry to hear that OscarCichlid.

Unless it was maybe water params or the dye, I'm not really sure. I've heard of dyed fish lasting longer but also have heard them not lasting but a couple months.

It makes your loss no easier and I'm sorry.

So sorry to hear about this. I know how easy it is to gete attached to your fish especially one like an Oscar with so much personality.
