Me and several others have noticed that fish that originated in Asia are more active than south American. Does anyone have a clue WHY?

It's more a case of natural envrironment, not continents. If you're talking about zebra danios, they come from fast-flowing hillstreams in India, and that kinda area, so they are zoomy. Betta Splendens is also from Asia, and I can't think of a more sluggish fish.

Does what it says on the tin, dunnit.
