In my 10gal fishless cycling tank.. I have 2 marble queen radican swords in them.
They're both from the MQ in my main tank and have been growing really well.
But I noticed that their newest leaves have these rust colored spots on them.
I remember people warning about algae growing during fishless cycling if the lights are kept on too long... is this what I'm dealing with?
If so.. what would be the best way to get rid of it?

Any help is appreciated! :D

Here are some pics that I took of it... kinda blurry but you can see the discoloration on the leaves in question.

EDIT: Woops.. might've shrunken those pics down a bit too much.. here is a larger pic... hope you can see it a bit better.

Just bumping my thread... my bad if that's not allowed. Would just like a little help :D
After I posted this thread.. I turned the aquarium lights off.. if it is algae.

Ok so I read the algae sticky topic... not sure if that is what I'm dealing with (probably is but I'll wait just in case it's something else)..... so would snipping off the leaves with the dots be best?
