I haven't been running the little hanging filter that came with my tank, wasn't sure if Eddie would be ok with it. But, I figured i'd give it a shot.
I've been keeping an eye on him to make sure he's ok, and I noticed he's playing with it.
He'll swim into the downward stream from the filter so it pushes him to the bottom of the tank, then turn around, and swim around and back up, over and over. Sometimes he'll change and swim from one side to the other through it. I guess similar to fish playing with air stones.
His fins aren't that big yet, so I guess maybe it's not a problem for him, i'll have to just keep an eye and make sure there's no trouble.
When I turned it off (it's making some noise, not sealing properly around the bit I can turn to control the flow), he kept trying to do it, and would sit under the outflow bit to wait, then go swim around to try it again. I had to turn it back on for him.
