Hey,

I am assuming you are referring to Rummy Nose tetra. I have Rummy Nose tetra's and amano shrimp in my tank at the moment. Being absoloutley fine. I did have some cherry / crystal shrimps recently but due to an unexpected high nitrite level spike lost them sadly.

If the shrimp reproduce, the rummys will likely eat the young, just so you know.  Small crustaceans are a natural food of characins.

Byron.
