RTBS (red tail black shark) I've read it needs 36 in. but would it be OK if it was in a 30 inch tank?

RTBS can get very agressive towards other fish. I had one in a 4ft tank and he (or she) harrassed the other fish constantly and killed 7 tiger barbs, it now lives in a 3ft tank with a turtle. Personally I wouldnt have one.

ive got one in my 4ft tank and havent had a problem.... the females and less agressive and i was lucky enough to get a female! she has her mood swings but is fine
